Who we are
RCCG Covenant Parish (New Covenant Parish) is a branch of the worldwide Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). Under the leadership of Pastor Dele Salewon, our mission is to win souls, disciple believers, and impact our community for Christ.
Our Mission:

We believe in the core tenets of our faithāsalvation through Christ, the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, sanctification, and the authority of the Scriptures. Our weekly activities and spiritual life are anchored in worship, teaching, prayer, and fellowship.
Our Story
The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) was founded in Lagos, Nigeria, in 1952 by Rev. Josiah Olufemi Akindayomi, a man devoted to prayer, holiness, and the leading of the Holy Spirit. What began as a small fellowship has grown into a global movement, with the vision of spreading the gospel of Christ and bringing souls into Godās kingdom. After Rev. Akindayomiās passing in 1980, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye was appointed as General Overseer, and under his leadership, RCCG has experienced extraordinary growth worldwide.
Today, RCCG is present in more than 190 nations with thousands of parishes across Africa, Europe, the Americas, and beyond. Known for its emphasis on holiness, evangelism, church planting, and missions, RCCG continues to pursue its vision of making heaven and helping as many people as possible do the same, while establishing churches within walking or driving distance of every community.

We believe the Bible is Godās inspired authoritative and trustworthy rule of faith and practice for Christians. Therefore, we submit ourselves to its teaching, commit ourselves to do what it says, and yield our lives to become what Christ desires for us to be.
We value Prayer!
We believe in the power of prayer. Therefore, the ministries and activities our church will be characterized by a reliance on personal and corporate prayer in all areas of our lives and ministry.
We value Evangelism and World Missions!
We believe in the Great Commission commanded to us by Jesus Christ and we are committed to reaching unsaved and unchurched people locally, nationally and worldwide. We will use every available Christ-honoring means to pursue, win and disciple the people in our sphere of influence.

We believe God ordained the family to glorify him. We are committed to cultivate an atmosphere which promotes spiritual growth within the family by reaching families with the gospel, discipling them in Christ-like character and teaching each family member how to fulfill their God-given role.
